ATS ate my post!

Damn it. I just wrote a long post, and I hit "post new topic". I then get a message saying "There is already a thread with that title." or something, and it tells me to hit Back. I do so, and my post has gone!

I think every long term member and quite a few new members have had that happen at least once.. Myself, well a few times.

I quickly learned to select all text and copy before submitting the post.

ahh i know the feeling and i think we have all done that at some point,

I always write long posts in word or something then just copy them just in case,

But i feel your pain as i have done this loads of times,

Make sure you put the title in, ect all little bits can help,

I think it happens even more frequently these days, as ATS grows. At this rate, there will be no titles left! lol

This always happens when you are the most inspired and clear minded

The second one can never compare to the first one.

I've done the very same thing. So sorry! I've gotten into the habit of selecting the text and doing a CNTR C before I do anything. (And sometimes I still forget )

It happens to the best.

Yeah I made it a habit myself to always copy everything I type before I hit any buttons.

You would be amazed the money you will save on keyboards with this small habit.

These buttons come in handy.
