I love this guy.
news.bbc.co.uk...
This is great, if I had this when I was a kid I would have been so excited. I tried to read a brief history of time when I was a kid, but I just didn't get it. I think it's great that kids are going to be learning this stuff early.

His daughter Lucy said their forthcoming project would be aimed at people like her own eight-year-old son.

His? Daughter? Lucy? Project? Stephen hawking had a daughter, and is now a grandfather? That man IS superhuman, overcoming paralysis and all. But seriously, this is good news. Maybe my kids will want to be a new Hawking when they grow up. When they're born, that is. Seriously, folks, I'm here all night.

Actually, when the book comes out, I recommend you get it. So often these "children's books" are so entertaining and understandable that adults find it useful. Things like FLATLAND; accessible parables for everyone!

I'm looking forward to it.

And yes, Hawking has children. His disease progressed very slowly and he wasn't always wheelchair bound.
