CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Washington's ambassador to Venezuela denied Thursday the CIA was working with Venezuelan dissidents to overthrow President Hugo Chavez as the his allies have alleged.

Not like I ever expected otherwise, but the US Embassy is publically suggesting ....

The U.S. Embassy said in a statement that the video showed a private security company, not CIA agents.

It seems that all the work the CIA does, in my recent knowledge of activities in South America, is thru 'Private' companies.

How the hell does he know if the CIA plotted against Chavez. He is an Ambassador to the United States, which means he is a puppet for the United States.

Yes I agree, but for a USA rep to admit by denying, means it is agreed that both parties have acknowleged the existance of the thought, or attempt. If it was hogwash, there would be no discussion by the US.
