The Exopolitics Institute held a conference in Hawaii this past
weekend and the local paper (see: www.westhawaiitoday.com...)
wrote a report on that, which you can see in full here:

For those who do not know, here is the Exopolitics Homepage.

Exopolitics Institute

They remind me of Stephen Greer's Disclosure Project.

Everyone can find the text of the "Declaration", and
an associated petition, here:

Yes, I think you're (Skadi) right: in a sense, they're both
leftist, New Agey oriented, "parties" with an agenda for
activism already impaired by their "we know it all" ideology.

Fact is, no one really knows what's up with UFOs. Plain
and simple. Both the Disclosure Project and the Exopolitics
Institute (both in fierce and sometimes bloody competition)
put the cart before the horse.

If a person really wants to deepen their understanding of the
UFO mystery, I wouldn't spend too much time poring over
the material from these two camps.

You are very correct, Mike.

With UFOs its best to start simple with serious research into cases and government activity. After understanding the basics and more empirical UFO stuff, then one should look into the contactee and New Agey type stuff to flesh out their understanding by observing the fringes and more "fluffy" side of social UFO groups.
