Fatah gunmen loyal to Palestinian President Abbas have sprayed the Palestinian parliament building with bullets, breaking windows and set a building on fire. They also stormed the building and smashed furniture, computers and scattered documents. There are no reports of casualties as yet. The attack is said to be in retaliation over Hamas attacks on Fatah.

RAMALLAH, West Bank - Hundreds of Palestinian security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas went on a rampage against the Hamas-led government Monday night, firing bullets and setting a Cabinet building on fire in retaliation for an earlier attack by Hamas gunmen.

The security men shot out the windows of the parliament building before storming the two-building Cabinet complex, where they smashed furniture, destroyed computers and scattered documents. No casualties were reported.

So much for Fatah being the partners of peace and deserving of support from the US. Seems that when Fatah loses power they can quite easily revert back to their terrorist roots.

It's a shameful display and I hope President Abbas condemns this outburst quickly and unequivocally.
