i was washing up last night when i looked out this window in front of me and saw a big black and gray thing (moth)
i thought it was a bat at first because they are quite common near my house because of where i live, but when i looked closer it was a giant sized moth, scared me like hell

A few years ago I saw something that looked like a bat, but more flesh coloured hanging from my bedroom light fixture. Could have been a bat sized moth I suppose.

You were going to kill a living creature? For what purpose? It wasn't hurting you...

it would be for purpose of showing people the shere size of the thing
to add to that, calm down dear its only a moth, even though a mighty moth at that
to conclued, i didnt actually kill it so does it matter?

You can take a picture of it without killing it though.

Power to the creatures! *raises fist in air*

Calm down dear, it's only a moth...

*kills you* Calm down, its only a human...

Get the point?

this is so weird of a thread, I spotted the exact copy of that moth in the pic around my place for 2 days, it just was motionless on a fence post, till it flew off on its own, huge one! Wow!

I have never seen a moth as big as the one described above, it would have been cool if you got a picture of it.

I once saw a bat the size of a moth.

Do I win a prize?

I took this pic in West Virginia. Great eyespots on this guy. You can see that his
wingspan is about the width of a brick, about 8 inches in this case. I stood there for ten minutes until his front wings uncovered at least some of the eyespot.
