Greetings from a disappointed Centrist

Greetings all:

I am new to registering for ATS, but I have been a reader of the forums for some time. I just never seemed to have the time to research my points to the standards of many of your membership. I appreciate the research based arguments that occur here. Even if the research itself can be called into question, there is normally a back-source to reference to for the reader to reach his/her own conclusions. I appreciate that.

A little about me:
I am not a partisan. But am highly politically aware. I have worked in the field and currently work for a Government consulting firm in VA. I live in the Washington DC metro area and attended a top teir internationally focused college in DC - many of you in the area could likely guess the institution. I majored in US Foreign Policy and much of my work currently deals with such issues. While I am an expert in nothing, I know something about practically everything and always am looking for ways to learn more.
