Microsoft Office Q's

I have Microsoft Office Profesional Edition 2003 installed on my comp, and also MS Office Standard Edition 03.

Can I uninstall the standard edition and still be assured that everything will work fine? (as I don't have the original MS OS disks if something goes wrong)

And while we're on it, can the Pro Edition 03 replace MS Office 1997?

It depends on several things.

First, did one version of office update the other?.
If so, taking one out will disable the one left.

What order were they put on the computer? If u put standard in- then pro-it may have been an upgrade. You would still see both.

yes 03 pro can either update 97 or you can uninstall 97 and do fresh install of 03.

Could I uninstall Office Standard AND Pro 2003 and then just install Pro 03 again?
