My first cousin and current room-mate is a Free-Mason. He basically describes the organization as a fraternity for very rich and wealthy individuals with connections. He does not get into too much detail regarding the secret rituals, ideologies, etc., connected with Masonry, although he has stressed and emphasized countless times that it has NOTHING to do with Satanism. I'm trying to convince him to let me tag along to one of his meetings and what not, but to no avail. At first it freaked me out when I found out he was a Mason, but that was due to plain ignorance on my part. I really doubt there is anything too sinister going on with them, atleast not on a local level. Who knows what goes on in the higher reaches of the organization. *shrug*

The whole free-mason thing is quite creepy, it is indeed covered up pretty well and a lot of commoners from the billboards don't know about it well.

It kind of makes you want to join just to see what all the fuss is about doesn't it. I suppose at 35 it would be far to late to ever reach any high rank. Especially with people having to die off to become a 33 deg., as I read here the other day.

I saw a movie one time ( The Devils Rain) where a group of Satanist crusified this poor bastardo upside down. The High Priest said,"Your journey begins now as he flipped him over screaming. I wonder if that is some type of initiation or if they killed him? It kind of left that to the imagination. Neither of these statements is true. I received my 32ş at the age of 49. The number of 33ş is only limited by the number of members that truely get involved in the good works of the Rite (children's speach and language clinic, etc...).

Well then, I think I'll be getting me a petition from the masons I know. I have already talked to one about it just a few minutes ago in fact, and he said he and his biscuit making buddy would meet with me about it. I am strongly considering joining. He said the only regret that he has about joining is not doing it sooner. I guess I'll know more about it when I meet with them.
