Is anybody sick and tired of Al-Zarqawi death coverage?

Every time I look at the CNN web page (and I assume the other media shows similar sign of saturation) I see a new twist, or a "juicy" detail of the Al-Zarqawi's assasination.

I suppose this is an event not insignificant in the whole war in Iraq drama (or call it a tragedy if you will), but does it not appear that it has been blown out of any imaginable proportion?

His faction is an estimated as 5 to 7% of the insurgents -- and keep in mind that the rest are of widely varying backgrounds, such as Shia Sufi Sunni and whatever -- and he never was a definitive force in Iraq. He was iconized by the US media as the chief terrorist and his personality is highly praised because he decided at some point to brand himself Al Qaeda (which he was not). Now the Bush'ers can say -- look! We are really fighting Al-Qaeda in Iraq!

And, for that reason, the media circus is unbearable. Another murderer is put to death but I don't see it much different from another news piece about the death row..
