.177 21 grain air bullets now being produced in the UK for export / high-powered (licence required) rifles only

If you can get 'em try them - very interesting. Oh and they tumble after initial penetration too.

Yeah, not all airsoft guns are of horrible quality.

And for people complaining about low velocity, its airsoft because its for shooting at people (that have eye protection), in either messing around, or military simulation.

Not to mention you can still shoot other things like cans, just because it doesent shoot 3000 FPS doesent mean its terrible.

But i do agree, pellet & BB guns are fun if you are doing something with them besides killing harmless birds & animals with it (or worse, wounding it). If someone went out and shot something in my yard, i'd probably get arrested for assault.

3000 fps? I wish!!!!!!!!! If a 3000fps rifle existed, I'd have my hands on it! But it probably does exist, I just havn't seen it

I don't know if anyone ever does this but I like to diesel my pellet gun, put some combustable material in the skirt of the pellet, WD-40 and lighter fluid works great, this substantionally increased velocity but this will be at the cost of your 'o' ring seals.

I wonder what happens if I buy those new Gamo Raptor pellets and diesel those! they already are advertised to increase velocity by a great amount (around 250 FPS increase!).

Beware about diesling your pellet guns, you risk blowing up your chamber and all that fun stuff...

Daaaaaammmmmmnnnnn!!!!!!!! All of you are hella creative!!! Some modify their guns to increase FPS, others deisel them. Wow! I'd still prefer a 2000-3000fps rifle, though
. If ANYONE has a link to a site where I can buy a pellet rifle that shoots 1500-3000fps, PLEASE POST IT!!!!!!! I would especially be happy if the rifle in the link was in .22. By the way, if anyone can find me a link on .22 semi automatic air pistols like mine, that would be great, too! Oh, and also a link on buying them predator pellets

Only semi auto air pistol I know of in the UK (it's a legal grey area - they're not banned but frowned upon so no-one makes / sells them commercially in the UK) is the Crosman 600 - 14 shot .22 @ about 4.5-5 ft/lbs.

It's CO2 powered so power so power is temperature-dependent. I have seen them in a carbine stock with longer barrels - apparently c. 9 ft/lbs if you don't detune them (leagl limit in uk is 6 ft/lb for pistols)

If you want the contact for the air bullets you'll have to U2U me as I'm sure advertising's banned on here - I was testing them on Sunday (under an RFD testing pemit - if anyone's listening in
) and they took a 11.4 ft/lb rifle to 16.8 ft/lb and gave decent groups at 50 yards.

That's pretty ridulous, what will a semi-auto air pistol do?

I personally invisioned air rifles capable of firing some type of ammunition, perhaps have their powder ignited by compressed air (air travels through a little hole and hits the powder thus igniting the case).

I don't know if it would be legal or even safe to do though lol.

Why would you bother - air is air, powder is power - different tools for different jobs.

S/a air pistol - does what it says - loads of fun - especially shooting speed plates

Over in the UK airguns are limited to 12FPE at the muzzle unless you get an FAC license or something like that. Airguns over 12FPE are basically considered the equivalent of a firearm.

You wanna see an air rifle that'll deliver a punch like a powder burner? Here's a Quackenbush Outlaw; a .457cal PCP air rifle. It's capable of sending a 430gr bullet (not pellet) at 732FPS, or 509FPE.

Brocock BAC pistols were taken off the market over there not so long ago. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can still get your hands on one.

They use individual 'air cartriges' which consist of a pellet seat where the 'bullet' would be, the 'casing' acts as a pressurized air chamber and where the 'primer' would be is a tap valve for the hammer to hit and release the air and push the pellet out and down the barrel. They were taken off the market in the UK because people learned how to modify them to shoot real bullets.

Now prohibited weapons (section 5?) posession without FAC = 5 year min sentence.

Those that have may not sell them to anyone

It's up to you but not worth the risk IMO

I had one - too fiddly IMO but some do like them

Man, that sucks.

How was the construction quality of the Brocock? I've never had the opportunity to handle one.

They were mixed. Some were toys made from monkey metal - others (I had the specialist) were de-specified walther .38 revolvers but with a cut-away cylinder.

The quality of the construction can be seen by the fact that converted Brocoks (firing 8 mm blanks + projectile) were often used by chav crims - although this fact is disputed.

The issue I had was the re-charging of the TACS took ages and most wouldn't hold a charge for more than an hour or so

Oh yeah, a quick note, the round pellets that are shown on the box of pellets are not used by my rifle or pistol, as they roll out

i dont no if anyone allready said this or not but the round pellets are not pellets lol theay are bb's and you can not use bb's in a break barrel rifel (witch is the rifel in ur pic) nore can you ue them in most co2 powerd pistols. Some pistols can ue them but most can not.

I have a rather large collection of pellet rifels and pistols 7 rifels and 2 pistols so far...got some air soft ones to.I
pellet guns are awsome! unfortunitley here in canada you cant own a pellet gun if it shoots over 500 fps (i think if you have licence you can) i dont no if theay have laws like that in russia.I no in america it dont matter hell i see and red about this one pellet rifel shoots over 1000 fps let me tell you....even from 30 meters that will kill a person if ya shot them in the head...dam americans lol thats the onley thing i envy them for.

I got an american pump master 360 its a multi pump rifel meaning you pump it a few times for more power the booklet says not more then 10 pumps. That dose 630 fps....well i pumped it 25 times and it goes right threw the metal plate protecting my furnace (no i did not shoot my furnace i have extra plates) 10 pumps alone wood kill a person from 15-20 meters with the pump master 360.I pumped it 25 times for fun see how strong it is..i have it illeagely tho...as i said cant shoot faster them 500 fps in canada i got it from a friend who got it from texis lol i dont tell many people its american tho..dont want me bet gun taken away by dumb govermint.Oh i allso got the canadian version of the pump master 360...lol i hate to say it but compaired to american version IT SUCKS! i pumped it 30 times and it wont go threw the metal plate....i think it could kill person tho...still strong but not as strong..
heare is some advise for anyone who wants it.

When buying a pellet rifel if you want the most power and stregnth possable get a multi pump you may need to pump it alot for lot power but its stronger then anything else.Break barrels are good to but multi pump more stronger anyday.

That pellet rifel i was talking about that shoots over 1000 fps its called a "talon" and it uses a big air tank
anyone want help or info on pellet gun or ammunition just ask me

sorry for bad spelling

I totally agree with you that they are bbs and myself get mad when people call them bbs. But on the box it said pellets, and I don't want to confuse the people here on ATS. Yes, it definetley is a bb, and I hate them. I only like sharp ammo
and bullets.
