Well these are two poems I'm going to submit along with many others for my school project, I would appreciate some output.

Shattered Skies

High and above, the birds fly where no man can go,
To dream is to wander as live is to ponder.
When can we fly to and fro?

On the ground we can’t see and we can’t know,
What it’s like to traverse the wild blue yonder.
High and above, the birds fly where no man can go.

Take me away, go with the flow
The birds are here they will not wonder,
How can we fly to and fro?

Over the woods, through the canyon low
Beneath the ocean, none is the fonder,
High and above, the birds fly where no man can go.

Look up, take a step and draw the bow
Fall back, no longer the kinder.
When can we fly to and fro?

Arrow away, the heart it goes through,
Never to beat, never to stir.
High and above, the birds fly where no man can go.

Now can we fly to and fro?
The deed is done; the life’s a sunder,
The gift god now forced below,
Never to waltz like they once did a la mode.

Every Passing Moment

Beautiful settings of beautiful earth
The beginnings of a world start to arise,
The beautiful creator of the bright colored world.
It all began a long time ago,
When the sky had a dream
To have a dear friend.

He thought it through,
He thought it twice,
Visited it twice, then revisited thrice.
He saw the need,
As he was lonely
So he made his friend to mend his heart.

A god of sorts, a god among worlds
Now with a chisel and hammer,
He carved a new building.
A palace of sorts, it was white and cozy
A new home for all, it sat on the road.
He welcomed his friend,
And he did not know,
His friend had become the curious
And soon the palace would fall.

The earth came in, she ruined
Sky’s dear creation, now filled
With darkness the palace had fallen.
The creator was sad, but he did not weep
The creator was strong,
But what he felt went very deep.
The creator had trusted his friend
Only to see who his friend was,
His friend was the one he had loved,
The same love that tarnished his heart.

Hope you all enjoy, I'll post the others as soon as I get them, but I'd appreciate output.
