Since the number one Post-9/11 unasked question was, "Why do they hate the U.S.?", the new novel by the noted U.S. author John Updike will shed much light on this issue. His inspiration on this topic came after he witnessed the 2nd air strike on the World Trade Center (and its subsequent collapse) from a building rooftop in Brooklyn.

The book focuses on an 18-year-old U.S. Muslim high school student and his experiences with radical Islamic clerics, high school counselors, and the Department of Homeland Security. It's a gripping read.
