A 16yr old has been arrested under terror laws in Yorkshire, UK. The arrest is in connection to the recent terror arrests in Canada.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with terror offences in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

He was arrested by officers who were already questioning a 21-year-old detained at Manchester airport, police said.

The older man, thought to be from Bradford and of Pakistani origin, was arrested last night under the Terrorism Act 2000.

The teenager was arrested this afternoon and homes in the Dewsbury area are currently being searched.
