Another "Friday The 13th" Sequal

I read on the net there going to make yet another "Friday The 13th" sequal. I liked some of the "Friday The 13th" movies, but WHY ARE THEY MAKING ANOTHER SEQUAL!

I also read here that it's going to be a remake not a sequal. Either way why are they making it?

There have been 11 "Friday The 13th" movies including Freddy vs. Jason.

What would be worse, a sequal or a remake? I'd rather see a sequal and have Jason killed off and end the series.
