FOX is a subsidiary within the News Corporation, a company founded in Adelaide, Australia, incorporated in Deleware USA and owned by Rupert Murdoch. Other subsidiaries in the News Corporation group include; Sky TV, Myspace, The Times (London), Wall Street Journal, some 150 subsidiaries globally.

FOX IS the Media!

With full saturation coverage, cross-border, cross-culture, cross-socioeconomic spectrum.

if Fox is The Media, who/what are CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, NY Times, Time Magazine, AP, and a hundred local newspapers and news stations? all of whom despise Fox.

The competition! Or at least some of them are. Others are part of the same corporate group.

They are, of course, all THE MEDIA.

My point really, was to point out that Fox is not as independent, neutral, unbiased or alternative as their airing of the likes of Alex Jones might suggest. Rupert Murdoch, the owner of the very large media corporation that is the parent company of Fox, along with his corporate board members and executive officers, make editorial decisions as to what is aired or printed on a sizeable chunk of the global mainstream media.

They will control the internet soon enough if the ACTA treaty is passed. It's about more than copyright and piracy. This effects our daily lives. Imagine having to pay to send e-mail or being sent to jail over a jpeg. It's going down right now.
