Idiots.
Didn't we try the exact same thing with N Korea?
All it did was buy them enough time to finish building a bomb.
Anyone who thinks the iranians really want a civillian Nuclear program is drinking way to much Kool Aid.
We should bomb them from the air, sieze thier oil fields, and place them under sanctions untill the people throw the Mullahs out on thier ass.
Because if Iran does ever get nukes, its WW3

Shazams,
The point I was makeing with N Korea was that we had the survelance photos and could have stoped the program then, but the decishen was made not to. And now it seems the same decishens are being made now. I just dont know if its to late to really stop any thing.

Shazam, Captain Marvel... If the world keeps starting wars because the 'enemy' might start one at a later date, we'll just guarantee that wars will continue at a later date.

Apart from the ending of the WW2 in the Pacific, nuclear weapons have been developed for self defence, detente, Mutually Assured Destruction, as the US and USSR did in the Cold War. And with those two super apes spending billions on proliferation, it was inevitable that their satellite nations would get them.

The world has to focus on getting rid of them by agreement, not giving nations new grounds of self defence for developing them.

I trully think that this is our best chance for a peaceful resolution in the Iran...and the thing is The Iranian President is not nessecarily a bad guy

Not a bad guy?
His ambition according to his own words is to "wipe isreal off the map" In what way does wanting to murder or forcefully relocate 20 odd million people or so not make someone a "bad guy"?

Please, use your facts properly. According to this site Israels population is 6.2 million. Not that that makes it any better but this is the News Network, let's go with real facts here.

I stand corrected.
Anything substansial to add?

What "might"
They have said they will use them, they have stated they want to wipe isreal off the map.

Its real simple, don't allow madmen to get WMD's.

Can you point to a statement by Iran that they would use nuclear weapons, if they had them, in anything other than self defence? (Who do you think Israel has it's nuclear weapons pointed at?)

From the Washington Post May 2, 2006:

" Iran's first target would be Israel in any response to a U.S. attack, a Revolutionary Guards commander said Tuesday, reinforcing the Iranian president's past call for Israel to be "wiped off the map." "

------------------------

President Ahmadinejad is heavy with rhetoric but any attempt to wipe Israel of the map will ensure destruction for Iran in return. Politicians love making grand statements, often aimed at improving domestic support, but it doesn't mean they're mad. With the unprovoked invasion of Iraq, Iran has unfortunately has a huge incentive to have a deterrent. Now that pre-emptive military action is considered policy by the West, the non-Western world may start a new spurt of nuclear proliferation.

Invading Iran will not permanently prevent it from developing nuclear weapons, will probably also start a war with Syria and destabilise the whole region, which means a massive shock to the world economy. That is madness. Diplomacy isn't the perfect opposite of war, but it has a much greater chance of saving lives.
