Battalions normally have around 700 officers and men, although they are typically chronically under manned. This experimental unit configuration allows the British army to deploy 10,000 fully manned battalions simultaneously:

I like it, very funny!!!

I think its a good idea, we would finally be able to supply a whole battlion with enough equipment to actually go to war!!!!!
