I have a bad case of ats obsession. Somtimes, when I am sleeping,I even dream crazy dreams about ats. I think i've had some people hear me recite screen names of people here on ats. I think alot of people here have an obsession with ats. I guess I never will understand what makes a website so addictive
. Usally,I spend from 3:30pm(when I get home) to 8:00,and thats only because other people in my house want to use the computer,or I probally would not get off till early in he morning. Most of the time on weekends,I stay on till about 5:00 in the morning (thats over thirteen and a half hours!) anyways,I just wanted to share this with ats to see if anyone could relate.

Believe me,I have tried. The only real way I can stay away is by force. And, I doubt anyone will do that...lol

before i got kicked out of my house, my stepdad tried to take the internet from everyone.. he had no reason to do it, he just wanted to be a jerk. but anyway, i had been reading a post on ats that day, and when i came back to read the rest of it my internet was gone.. i flipped out. I said a bunch of crazy stuff and I told him that he was nuts. I threw a chair. I pulled violently at my hair. you get the point.. god i hated him.. he thought he was god. he sat around all day and didnt work or clean and do anything, so i already had big problems with him because he treats my mom like shes below him or something. but a lot of it, i admit, had to do with the fact that i *had* to come back to this website and couldnt. i mean, because, otherwise iw ould have just waited to use the internet or went somewhere else. so, after all of that craziness he told me to either leave and never come back, or he would call the police. i wish he would have called the police because i would have gotten him for trying to karate punch me haha... violent mofo.. i hope he rots.

Oh my. The above symptoms are quite frighting. I encourage all of us to walk around the block once a day, if its not to dangerous where you live. Otherwise go for drive somewhere.

Perhaps I should scale back my browsing a bit. But lord knows I have other considerations weighing on my mind, so it's okay. Kinda.

I share the ATS addiction, I get up an hour early to read. This place is VERY addictive.
I find myself looking at the world in a different way now.

Peace,

I am thankful to my Creator that I have no such addiction problem, and spend no more than 10 minutes at ATS per day catching up on news.

NC and beergoggles

Or I was waiting for someone to mention the first key step in a 12-step program, which has to do with recognition or denial, or some such.

Wish I had a dollar for every post I have made this calendar year so far, here and other places!

Been worth every bit of it too.

I know exactly how you feel. I had the same problem a few months ago. It still occurs sometimes.
