I was talking only yesterday of black markets and junk bond markets.

If dragonrider has retired (which is a possible assumption, based on his absence and bizarre mood meter gravitation in his absence) then it behooves me to make some fiscally responsible recommendations for the stability of the ATS points currency (ATSER's, in the Collaborative Fiction project The Quest):

1. Post only Chit Chat until further notice.

2. Do not discuss 9/11.

3. Do not discuss the Yellowstone supercaldera.

4. The official ATS Reserve euphemism for Quietly Spoken Nocturnal Harbingers Of Doom is QSNHOD.

5. Invest in infrastructure, including email accounts.

6. Do not go out and buy a new dress this week.

7. If you must get married, then do it in the "Marry Your Pet" thread and not in the "ATS Marriages" thread. Infrastructural investment at the firm level is more important than population expansion at this precise moment in time.

The above advice is sound.

Don’t worry. Your bank will suck-in ALL the points actually in circulation. Members will have only good looking ATS credit cards (cost 1000 points monthly for services and operations, ATS email account for free, gold membership 3000 monthly – RATS for free). Just read agreement with your bank and follow carefully.

The only problem with NORFED is that their currency is related to ‘real’ value of silver and gold. This value may drop down one day because of scientific progress or releasing huge, secret gold/silver reserve by someone. And owner of that potential secret reserve may take over control over NORFED capital. Such reserves exist for sure. Today’s real values are no longer that stable like in the past. Single significant technology or product (energy, transportation) may change the values relations in seconds.

CMN – not yet completely developed is less fragile to ‘basic values system’ as is completely dynamic and permanently correlated with market development, real dynamic values of naturally growing economy. Biggest problem - is much more difficult to introduce CMN as a parallel system but in case of total collapse of all financial structures it is ONLY known by me idea which can be introduced in place.

Just a footnote to my above post:

1. I was posting it, while at the same time, Nerdling was posting dragonrider's farewell.

2. I commented (in replying) that I didn't like when my inductive reasoning is regularly synchronous with real world events, meaning that people look at me sideways when I say something non-obvious to most is about to happen then it does, 20 times or more per day. People who know me here know I don't see it as a blessing, yet.

3. Nerdling's post was Trashed before my reply reached that thread. I did have a chance to skim it though.
