the school system teaches you to be a socialist and then shows you that your job is to go and work for the man.

it does not encourage self sufficiency in the average citizen anymore because the controllers only want to get more and more powerful in their allegiance to satan. In other words you are trained to be their slave and see no way out. That is why capitalism is being slammed and promoted as an old system and now we need a new one and it is called fascism.

Since when did it teach us to be socialists?
I've been taught the value of money and that i should work for a living, but that goes without saying. If anyone is stopping self sufficiency it is the Republicans, Big government is getting BIGGER, by their own admission, a safety net is good, a nanny state is bad.

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.

Bush government anyone?

"PEACE" to our neighbors in the Middle East too. Don't exclude people.

If we could just make peace with these people in the first place, we wouldn't come to this point. Peace takes action from both sides. If it wasn't for us, we wouldn't be in this position. The US treats other countries badly. That's why so many hate the US.

That's all for now.

well cammo, i dont think anything can justify those things. here's what i think:

war does not = peace
peace does not = war

war may bring the temporary illusion of peace, but in the long run, unless you erase the aggressor completely, the remaining survivors are still gonna be pissed off. then you also have those within your own society who become pissed off aswell. in my opinion, it just makes people mad.

the question the US has to ask itself is "why are they so pissed off at us?" and "what have we done in our entire relationship with that country to make them want to kill us?" this kinda step to the situation would make more sense, than to be stubborn and just bomb the hell out of them.

All I meant is, in the eyes of these people here fighting that we should torture, it is justifiable.

Still in the long run, no hate is justifiable. Only love and peace.

Sorry about that, I must've missed them in between other people's posts...

Anyway, I do NOT look down my nose at ANYONE, ask anyone here that knows me if I am a snob, you'll get a 100% NEGATIVE RESPONSE.

The stuff you put up is esoteric law reconfiguration that has been around since the thirties... The "Man" has ALWAYS had the ability to crush you if he decides it's your turn to take the heat. The checks and balance system on all that is having a Kick Ass Attorney. ANYONE who thinks differently has never tangoed with "Big Brother"...

That's been the same all along. Again, You and I have not lost a single civil right, that we ever had, by virtue of the Patriot Act.

ALL the patriot act has done is made it easier for law enforcement to go after those that would harm our country. IF you are not involved with the acts associated with terrorism you will get out of it with a competent legal team. YES this is an added pain in the ass caused by the act but NOT a loss of civil rights.

Well, there is the problem of a free country.

Do you want to be free, or do you want to be safe?

If you want to kill all terrorists, give up your freedom.

*rolls around laughing*
So...uhm...i could go out and buy 1984, the communist manifesto, the anarchists cookbook and some assorted hate books about the US Government...i am flagged as a terrorist and i will be investigated. They go through my library records and tap my phone, they realise i am a liberal and i like to read military books. That will raise some eyebrows.

When i get black bagged i will be asked why i bought or rented those books, and i will say "i enjoy reading" and they will retort "but that is terrorist material, you must be a domestic terrorist"
So, because the books are synonymous with terrorism that makes me a terrorist?

Dont laugh, it could and possibly may happen to members of your family in the future.

Trading freedoms for "security" is step one on the ladder to dictatorship.

Wow! I can't believe you said that. Are you really that arrogant? You're bragging about being in the top 7%? In order for you to be in the top 7%, there has to be poor people running around. And here you are bragging about your greed!?

Society as a whole is more and more splitting into two great hostile camps, into two great classes directly facing each other: Bourgeoisie and Proletariat

The bourgeoisie is unfit to rule because it is incompetent to assure an existence to its slave within his slavery, because it cannot help letting him sink into such a state, that it has to feed him, instead of being fed by him. Society can no longer live under this bourgeoisie. In other words, its existence is no longer compatible with society.

Stepping on and betraying your own people to get ahead is not something I would ever be proud of doing. And it's the only way you're getting ahead in this capitalist system.

As for the topic at hand, I will have to agree with Skadi, Nerdling and deafence#. I'm not going to say anything that hasn't already been said.

READ THE POST I was responding to. I was called out incorrectly and corrected the inaccuracy.

That being said, I have worked HARD for what I have, I have NOT cheated, stolen, "stepped on anyone" or lied to get where I am and I actually HELP people KEEP their home and REDUCE their cost of homeownership by REDUCING their monthly mortgage payments.

What do YOU do for a living?

I will NOT appologize for being successful. PERIOD.

I did read the post you were responding to ( I was going to capitalize 'did', but i don't like capital things
).
I stand by my statement. You did not need to point out that you are in the top 7% (which I doubt anyway). It was arrogant.

If you looked at the broader picture and stepped outside the box, you would understand what I'm saying.
Mortgages wouldn't be required if it weren't for capitalism so you can say you're successful all you want but I won't see you that way.

As for what I do for a living, nothing very exciting thats for sure. Something that I could chose to make me rich but don't. Instead I try to make the rest of my life about helping those less fortunate. Not the lazy ones who want handouts but the ones who really need the help, mostly children.

If you consider yourself 'successful', and refuse to apologize for it, then I would just hope that you will use your 'success' (which in your eyes means money) and use it to help others who aren't so 'successful' ... maybe the ones who can't even afford rent let alone a mortgage.

I fear that Springer need not take his Geritol, but some others might need to take their Flinstones chewables and learn a little more. I'll not repeat it again as it is a waste of time. I do think that it is a shame that very loud people, not at our level, but at levels of news and entertainment, do not understand the difference between the judicial system and war, and they actually think that those waging war, either by conventional means or by terror, are eligible to a trial just as a normal U.S. citizen is. This is beyond reason and education and has nothing to do with the "21st century", other than people are becoming both ignorant as well as weak. If this disease spreads much further, I fear not only for the survival of the U.S. but for the rest of the world.

Alright. One reason is because of corporations. Third world countries hate corporations because they ruin their economy.

Another is sometimes we act like we are helping a country in war. Then we just leave and make the country worse than it was before (Afghanistan for example).

There are more reasons but I don't want to get into them.

I know one reason some Americans despise and generally ignore foriegn whining about us- We are the ones carrying the load most of the time when the mighty UN just sits on its hands waiting for the all clear so food can be delivered.

Who left Afghanistan hanging? The UN did jack squat when the Taliban Man was mangling the culture, freedoms and women there for years.!! Useless resolutions-why do they call them that? They never act decisively to RESOLVE any REAL threat without US. Tell me how WE dropped the ball there?

Frenchie. Germans. Ruskies. China. Canadians. What the freak ever.

We gave blood of our soldiers for THEIR freedom-go to hell! Maybe when these pompous Europeacniks gather around the hookah singing Kumbyazz they will think about the blood We spilled for a country that has nothing to give America.

Believe me, Americans are just as sick of them as they are of us.
