Something in the sky over Los Angeles

Any eagle eyes out there spot something moving high above the sky in Los Angeles. Specifically over the San Ferenando Valley, I am in Sherman Oaks and so something in the sky.. looked to be shaped like a Boomerang?? Completely black, no lights. Seemed to be moving by the wind but didn't look like any sort of balloon or kite or anything.

Anyone else see this?

I tried to get photos, but the only thing I had was my Cell Phone, and not enough light to capture it in the sky (especially since it was completely black)

Now it appears to have moved away entirely from my view.

Oh yes, I should also add that it was approx. 8:30 when I saw it and it appears to be heading South/east.
