Reuters is reporting today that Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden has been confirmed as the new CIA Director.

What bothers me most about this is that A military general has just taken the reigns of a Civilian Intelligence agency.
We already have a major lack of accountability and I am afraid that this move only reinforces my fears.
Hayden was the one who oversaw the controversial NSA Spy Program.
How can we trust someone with more power and authority when they have already helped abuse the power that they had previously had.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Friday confirmed Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden as CIA director in a vote that gave a broad bipartisan endorsement to the architect of President George W. Bush's domestic spying program.
