The only remaining member of the terrorist group that was involved in the Beslan school seige has been jailed for life by a Russian court. Nur-Pashi
Kulayev is the only survivor of the original group of 32 that held hostage more than 1,000 people in North Ossetia school. The Russian judge commented
that he deserved the death penalty for his crime but this is not possible in Russia.

Kulayev had denied the charges relating to the 2004 attack in which more than 330 people died, many of them children.
The verdict is the culmination of a year-long, highly emotional trial.
He narrowly avoided being lynched by local people after being discovered hiding underneath a lorry not far from the school after the siege ended in a
bloody battle between hostage-takers and Russian troops.
Black-clad mothers of victims had crowded the courtroom for the verdict, carrying banners which read: "There is no forgiveness of the authorities who
let Beslan happen."

A day of justice???
Or a scapegoat for the Russian authorities???
IMO Kulayev should have been left for the crowd to decide his fate...What he and the other 31 Chechen separatists did to those people is unforgivable
and i hope justice is really served in the Russian prison he will be spending the rest of his miserable days in!
