not happening in my area.

could be weather related?? your cable company? have you called them yet??

I don't think it's a specific FOX thing, or we'd all be experiencing trouble.

There was a major power outage between NY and DC. Could that be the problem?

I was thinking the same thing.

I wonder if there is a connection with the power outage.

Something very strange about this.

I'm in Florida and still have Fox (unfortunately)
Although, for some reason Cartoon Network popped out for a few earlier.
I'm guessing it's a localized cable problem...happens a lot especially with digital cable.

Do you have Brighthouse cable? It's been fine all morning, and I've had on Fox News since I first read this thread.
I have the regular basic cable, but my brother has the super-duper digital package and ALWAYS has problems like you are describing - usually just one or two channels wig out for anywhere from 2 minutes to an hour or more.
Technology - it ain't all that

[edit on 25-5-2006 by triptrippington] jeez, I spell like a drunken monkey

Yes, I do have BrightHouse Cable but this has never happened before today.

I still can't get Fox News but I can get all the other channels.

Oh well, guess its not important.

I wish I knew why so many people HATE Fox News.

Because Fox is not news , it is hardcore propaganda. The XXX of propaganda. Soceital pornograghy. I find it strange that anyone who spent more than five minutes on this site would wonder what was wrong with Fox.

I hope solar flares is all it is.

Don't you think it is a coincidence that Amtrak lost all power and stranded thousands of people and then Fox is blacked out?

Blame it on what you will but this is troubling to me.

Fox has cuter newsbabes.
Thats all there is to it.

As for a good news source. It doesn't matter who you watch. They are all agenda driven. YOu almost have to watch all available news outlets, to piece together your own version of the truth.

Oh, and to keep it on topic. Fox is on, loud and clear over Dish Network..

The Department of Homeland Security's office inside of Fox news felt you did not need to know the particular issue that was being reported on. Do not ask again for an explanation.

That's a little strange. Did you try the Service Provider?

"I find nothing wrong with Fox News and I like it"
That's cool too Rose, it's just that, some folks feel that the "News" part of their name is a bit mystifyin'.
Time and time again, Fox News seems to prove themselves to be somewhat LESS than fair and just an utter pant-load of imbalanced.
But, then again, that's just my opinion.
Hope your cable worrys are now over...Enjoy O'Reilly tonight.
I know I always do.
Best,
Trip
