Ahh, for over 15 Years you have been a Yorkshire man, thats great.
Been one all my life myself though.

I need proof though from you.

Who is 'Lord' Mike Morris?
Where can you buy the best Pork Pie in the county/country/WORLD?
Which is Better - Whitby, Scarborough or Filey?
How long does it take to travel from Leeds to Manchester?

OK, i know the answers to these questions, so IF you can get them right you truly are a Yorkshire Man, if not, then i call you a Lancashire Wannabee!!!

1) Mike Morris 'im from telly.
2) pork pie close Wegeman's, Otley Yorkshire or Hulsons in Mold, Wales.
3) Fish and chips Whitby, fun-Scarborough but I prefer Filey tourists know it less. Trick question really its all Yorkshire, so its got t be better than any where else.
4) If you had to travel there it can take1 to 3 hours depending on M62 car park. This is another trick question. Why would a Yorkshireman travel to Manchester 'cept to pee on it?

Must go theres some irate scousers outside want some of my help, theres a fire in t' jam butty mines 'appen.

1)Yes, tis Lord of the Calendar News Prog
2)Nah, the best are from Skipton i'm afraid, down by the Riverside
3)Whitby 100%(i have no idea why i love that place but according to Calendar News, its the fave seaside destination of any Yorkshire man!!!)
4)THATS the trick question. No Yorkshire man knows the time, as no real Yorkshire man would ever travel to Lancashire...

come back in 15 more years i'm afraid..

Just teasing, you've been a sport. HOWDY

dialect my friend. I live in lincolnshire, have done all my life although at the time i was born the area was called somethingelse and then it reverted back to lincolnshire again. Here's a lincolnshire site that has got a bit on the local dialect, i would say it will be close to if not the same as the yorkshire dialect. Say it as it is spelt:

www.memoriesofacountryman.co.uk...
