'United 93' humanizes hijackers more than passengers

Topic started on 24-5-2006 @ 07:02 AM by And3h

Seldom have I felt so conflicted about the "fairness" of a movie as I am about the documentary-like "United 93," which in 111 minutes -- about five of them the closing credits -- attempts to re-create events before and during the fourth of the four catastrophic 9/11 flights, the one that crashed in Shanksville, Somerset County.

My personal opinion on this movies even though i have not seen it. Well my first thoughts when i saw the commercial was a coverup. Another attempt to sway people descisions. Whos to say Paul Greengrass wasnt visited and paid to make a movie about Sept. 11th. (Just my opinion)

How exactly can you form an opinion on something you have not even seen yourself?

But anyway - I've seen the movie and felt it was fair in terms of the "offical story", even though i do really deep down feel it's far too soon for a movie like this.

ah well...

Wrong forum, there is a forum just for 9/11 (and 7/7) stuff.

And its a movie too.

Anyone can see that writer-director Paul Greengrass, a 51-year-old native of Surrey, England, is trying to be as even-handed and nonjudgmental as humanly possible

The truth would be judgemental, Greengrass obviously will have done this film on what he or the writers believe. And there are still the majority celeb status and general population that is still unaware that there is anything suspicous about 9/11.
