The World Health Organization released a statement today announcing the possible outbreak of the first ever human to human transmission of the Bird
Flu (H5N1). The agency is scheduling a meeting later to discuss this outbreak and to possibly issue a pandemic alert.
May 23 (Bloomberg) -- All seven people infected with bird flu in a cluster of Indonesian cases can be linked to other patients, according to disease
trackers investigating possible human-to-human transmission of the H5N1 virus.

This is possibly the second outbreak of H2H Bird Flu. In the article it is mentioned that there was another possible out break of H5N1 in Thailand. I
knew of the outbreak in the UK and Iran, I had not heard of an outbreak in Thailand.
While it may not be the dreaded "Super-Flu", it is following the pattern suggested by the WHO and CDC. The May 20 death of General Lee Jong-Wook, head
of the WHO, could not have come a worse time.
