It was probably due to the significantly less sugar she was taking in in liquid form. Since she only drank water and not pop, juice, beer, and other
such stuff, all those empty calories were gone from her body.
In addition, the more water you take in, the less your body holds on to. Most people are not properly hydrated, so your body stores a lot of water in
your fat cells. When you take in more water, that water in the fat gets let loose, so while you're not loosing fat technically, you are losing size
to those fat cells which makes you lose weight and look better.
Being properly hydrated also helps burn fat when you exercise. However, just be sure that you don't drink TOO much water. Over 2 gallons a day can be
bad for you. Actually, you'd need to drink more than that, just be careful and if you are going to do anything too drastic talk to your doctor first.
YOu don't want to mess up your kidneys, that's a bad thing.
You can drink coffee, just don't put much (if any) creamer in and skip on the sugar.
