Scientists say Hobbit wasn't tiny. Oh my! But there are others in the GP (really)

Topic started on 21-5-2006 @ 11:35 AM by beforebc

Hello all,

bc} What do 'ya think of these spoil-sport scientists who insist that our 8,000 year old Indonesian "Hobbit" guy, who we all thought came from a race of tiny people .. never existed? And if that isn't bad enough, they are also saying that he was just "an ordinary person who suffered from ... small- headedness."

Well not to worry, 'cause I know where to find some really REALLY tiny little guys, half buried in the rock in the Great Pyramid.

The photograph is by RUDOLF GANTENBRINK and the rock is in the lower southern shaft as displayed in Gantenbrink's THE UPUAUT STORY

To find it your own self, go to the above website and click on the stone at the bottom of the opening page. Then click on THE FINDINGS .. then select the lower southern shaft (it's the lower one on the left), then scroll down to the second image.

If you can't see the little guys, than - a.} look harder - b.} change the resolution of your monitor - c.} get a better graphics card - d. get a Dell -

'cause they are there!

looked plenty hard, running at 1280x1024 resoluton on an ATI 9800 graphics card, which is irrelevant as concerns a .jpg file anyway...

i don't see 'em.

if there were tiny men in that picture, don't you think the author of the site would have noticed?

Hello all,

Look on the near wall on the left. At a point about 1/3 up, and 1/8 of the width of the photo in from the left, you'll see a rear view of a naked little guy / or gal, with their bottom toward you and the right leg buried in the rock.

There are dozens more at THE UPUAUT STORY

I view them at 800 x 600, 24 bit color, and Hi contrast.

I have no idea what are you talking about.

I went to the site, I found the photo.

My resolution is 1600x1050, dell computer, nice graphic card, but I can't see a single thing on that location/stone that proves your claim.

What's picture name when you try to save it on HD?

This is the second image down

www.cheops.org...

I see no little people, nor do I need a dell.

There are a lot of markings on the left wall, facing into the chamber. I think I see a stick figure looking thingy. Again, there are lots of markings on the wall.

Sorry, nothing there, and as was stated, a Dell is hardly necessary. Of course, you can find anything, anywhere, if you are looking for it.

Hello all,

I have no problem seeing the little guys. There is one, for instance, on the left right where the vertical wall meets the floor. I use a 17 inch flat screen at 800 x 600, 24 Bit color, and high contrast.

It may be that Hi-Res makes pixels of it all, where the 800 x 600 makes it plain as day.

Easily the clearest - is the naked one (with back to us) that is about 1/3 up, and 1/8 of the way in from the left of the screen.

In total there are about 20 individuals

hmmmm ... looked at the image at diffrent resolutions and even tried filters in Photoshop ... but I see no little people.

Perhaps a higher res image would help.

As the site said, videos of the robots and their journey were seen on television. TV has an even higher quality image than low-rez images for the Internet. I don't know if you watched the specials, but I did.

If there had been impossibly small humans (or even dolls down there), the first people to spot it would have been the robotics team. Since they were being paid to produce results and to show them to the world (and there was at least one international camera crew there as well as some journalists), everyone would have jumped to get a glimpse of them and to get closeup photos.

We would have journalists with legitimate credits (BBC and the like) waving photos around because you couldn't shut up a journalist with a story like that short of shooting them -- and if all the media people on that robot trip had suddenly died of Mysterious Gunshots, we'd all know about it because every conspiracy theorist in the world would be yelling their heads off.

Not to mention every pyramid buff.

I watched video as well. No doll-people or any sort of hobbit.

beforebc,
Is there any chance that not only your resolution is 'high'?

As for hobbits, I saw documentary about village in China, out of limit for TV/News crews which is inhabited with short hobbit like people. They believed that this might have roots in mix with aliens.

Joe,

You're talking about the Dropa Stones (or Dzopha, Dzopa, Dzopah, many other spellings out there.)

This story was exposed as false several years ago, but like most similar tales, people refuse to believe it wasn't true.

Run a google search on "Dropa Stones" to see what I mean, then go to:
www.virtuallystrange.net... to see a reasonable debunking.

You could also look at www.kmatthews.org.uk..., if it's not there, try Doug's Archaeology Site or maybe jcolavito.tripod.com.... I gave all those links because I couldn't remember which of them had content on the Dropa Stones, though I believe several do. But also I gave them here so that maybe a few folks in this section of ATS might go there and do a little poking around, as all the sites I just listed have content that is very much applicable to some of the wild statements made in this section.
