Wave, Particle Time

I know this may sound weird. I recently read about how the blackbody radiation mystery was solved and led to quantisizing light.
I was wondering, is it possible that we could quantisize time also ? Or perhaps come up with a wave model of time ? Maybe this would get rid off some of singularities that occur in relativity, and just maybe it could somehow unite relativity and Quantum Mechanics.

I wish I could cite some sources for this - but I'm afraid I can't.
