Chances are you just have company Proprietary information, but it is most likely Export controlled, so if you post it here, you also are violating export control laws that have fines and jail time.

As for classified, the files themselves should have some sort of flag on them; i.e. when you open a picture, it will be classified top and bottom.

Most classified drives do not make it back out of the secure facility. Normally, the drive gets written with zeros three times over and then destroyed.

I find that very hard to believe that a lawyer would say that. If anything he would advise you that you have a moral obligation to turn over the suspected classified material to authorities and not the general public.
