Radio First Termer Goes To Baghdad

www.radiofirsttermer.com.vn...

Hang On you guys and gals over in Iraq.... Radio First Termer Iraq is coming to your rescue. We are in Pre-Production planning now and will be bringing you a LIVE show, courtesy of some of our friends from AROUND THE WORLD!

THREE SOLID HOURS of GREAT Classic Rock Music, Tons Of NEW GAGS and a GREAT new Producer/Studio Engineer, Charlie Cooper, as my sidekick. We also have secured the services of a beautiful Iraqi woman, Nadirah, who will be using her silky, sultry voice to help us ENTERTAIN THE TROOPS!

I will keep you posted HERE when we get everything IN PLACE to do the show for you guys over there. Until then.... Keep the faith my brothers and sisters... KEEP THE FAITH!

(Salute)

Dave

Will you be podcasting the show also? Through ATS perhaps?

How the heck do you broadcast a radio show in Iraq these days anyway?? Is it a netcast, or are you actually having people there doing it?

The head man here at ATS is going to let me UPLOAD it through ATS.... and the ATS membership is going to burn, e-mail, rebroadcast or whatever way they have the knowledge and technology to do... and get it to whomever they KNOW that is THERE right now. We also have about a dozen troops in different locations in Iraq, that we are going to be shipping CD's of the show to for distribution and propagation. The Worldwide Pirate Radio Network (thousands of guys and gals in the shortwave pirate radio community) are also going to be broadcasting the show numerous times across whatever wavelengths and stratospheres they are capable of. It is really going to be a HUGE movement by LOTS of folks with the majority of them coming from the great folks and members of ATS.

I have it on pretty good authority a lot of shortwave pirates have been waiting for the final RFT Iraq. Several advance copies & air checks have made their way onto the shortwave pirate bands though.
Some of these stations are pretty powerful & regularly reach Europe & Africa from North America. Not sure about the middle east though, but I think its a good bet.

We have really had fun working on the production of Radio First Termer Iraq. From Troops getting us FRESH COMEDY from the Latrine Walls in Iraq, to some GREAT liners from some of the BEST Classic Rock stations worldwide. If you LOVE Classic Rock.... and you want to listen LIVE in the background while you are on ATS.... KZPS 92.5 is Dave Rabbit's favorite..... and my bud and favorite DJ (who was an MP in Saigon when I was there ) is my old friend Magoo.... who has a special page on KZPS to HONOR our military men and women around the world from ALL COUNTRIES.

www.kzps.com...

Tell Magoo.... Dave Rabbit said hello. I want to see HOW MANY countries I can get to say HI to HIM from ME !

Well, thanks to the FAST "No Edit" in ATS, after I clicked OKAY I realized that I didn't give Magoo's E-Mail Address. So, here it is. BE SURE to tell him WHAT COUNTRY you are from !

As much as my NEW CREW of Radio First Termer Iraq had hoped to get everything done and broadcast the show in June..... unfortunately, it is now set for September 2006. Unlike my old days in Saigon, where we just threw together stuff by the seat of our pants.... we really want the Iraq show to be EXTRA SPECIAL. Because I have acquired PROFESSIONALS in the field.... and because everyone is DONATING their TIME and TALENTS..... and because we have some GREAT GAGS that will take time to do.... that is the reason for the delay.

Anyway.... once it is done LIVE and broadcasted.... it will be available HERE at ATS for DOWNLOAD and DISPERSAL.
