US authorities can get access to EU citizens' data on phone calls, sms' and emails, giving a recent EU data-retention law much wider-reaching
consequences than first expected, reports Swedish daily Sydsvenskan.
The EU data retention bill, passed in February after much controversy and with implementation tabled for late 2007, obliges telephone operators and
internet service providers to store information on who called who and who emailed who for at least six months, aimed at fighting terrorism and
organised crime.

This again confirms the agenda of those in power to gain absolute control over the population, and that privacy will be a thing of the past in the
very near future.
Not only will you no longer be able to be anonymnous while sending or receiving emails, also you will be monitored when sending out SMS messages and
placing phone calls from either landlines or mobile phones.
Switching to scrambled anonymous mobile phones and using professional anonymous proxy software seems to be one of the few options left to the liberty
concerned citizen these days.
