Take a look at both.

Howard Fineman

www.kepplerspeakers.com...

Aaron Brown

edition.cnn.com...

Strange Coincidences of Both...

Both get giddy when talking about American Casualties on TV.

Both have been indifferent to the War on Terror since 9/11.

Both are die hard liberals who would stop at nothing to make sure the U.S. loses the war on terror.

Low orbit, they might appear indifferent to the so called "war on terror" because there isn't one. The war on terror is the new cold war. Just another boogey man for us all to fear. Sorry to see you've taken the bait.

you are right yiaweta, and the USS Cole, Spanish/British Subways, WTC, just happened to blow up. Someone has taken the bait but its not me, did you drink the Cool-Aid?

This thread is about the similarities between Fineman and Brown, if you want to talk about another conspiracy theory on ATS I suggest you find another thread!

More Koolaide Please! lol...Loworbit, I played golf with Aaron Brown once in Palm Beach. Trust me Howard Fineman could not hit a five iron. Understand Brown may seem like a lefty , especially if you are spoon fed daily by Rush, but he's a conservative. Brown is a very good guy!

Is that why Brown smiles and giggles a bit every time he reports more casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Judging by Brown's show he is a pompous ass.

Hell, but since you played golf with him once, you must know him well.

Loworbit, perhaps we could talk about commentators who are still on television. Brown has been gone since November of 05'. He probably got tired of the lies, I have!

What's your point that these events have happened? War has happened since the dawn of man. Are you surprised that there is violence in the world? It's already been pointed out that violent crime in America is more of a threat than terrorism will ever be. People are fighting the global hegemon of the US, and that scares them.

No one calls it terrorism when the US supports coups and violence in other countries, all in the name of security. Yet, when another country does it, the West calls it illegal. The government knows the hypocrisy and double standards of this, but they try to pull one over on the American public by claiming that you are being threatened by "the terrorists" and they are trying to bring freedom to those who don't have it. Pfft.

In reality, the government and many others know that it is just a pretext to extend the global dominance and influence of the US government. And many of such people frankly believe that's a good thing.

I swear I saw Aaron Brown on CNN the other day. Maybe it was flashbacks, or night tremors.

Jumanji, Americans understand that when people start blowing themselves and others up in the name of Jihad that, that act constitutes terrorism.

Blowing up a bus of innocent civilians and yourself is a bit different then putting a bullet through a guys head from 200 yards.

While both do kill people, yes you were very good for realizing that both groups do kill people they do so with a different take on humanity and the value of life. Americans and Christians for that matter value life, we respect the life our God has given to us and the lives that he has given to others.

Terrorists have an utter disregard for life, both their own and everyone else around them. They understand that half of the US is made up with people like yourselves who have never faced direct violence before and understand that you would choose to appease it rather than fight it.

Two negatives never make a right!

Terrorists believe they can spread their philosophy through acts of violence. Liberals believe that if we listen to what they are saying and if we can change ourselves and our lives to be more like theirs they will no longer attack.

What liberals can never realize is that if we do give into their demands we will be speaking arabic and worshiping Mohammad.

That would explain a lot about this thread.

Americans understand that when people start blowing themselves and others up in the name of Jihad that, that act constitutes terrorism.

Like I asked before, is it only terrorism when Muslims on Jihad do it? Is it not terrorism when Western nations provoke violent coups of democratically elected government?

While both do kill people, yes you were very good for realizing that both groups do kill people they do so with a different take on humanity and the value of life. Americans and Christians for that matter value life, we respect the life our God has given to us and the lives that he has given to others.

You are contradicting yourself. You are saying that Christians value life, and then act like when the kill people it's for a good reason. Is it a good reason to kill tens if not hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians on the pretext of a proven lie, i.e. Iraq? Is that the "Christian way"? I dunno, I guess that whole thing about turning the other cheek was conveniently left out of your Bible eh?

They understand that half of the US is made up with people like yourselves who have never faced direct violence before and understand that you would choose to appease it rather than fight it.

I'm surprised you are able to so casually judge an anonymous internet poster for the first time you address them. And, you have seriously misjudged my political stance and life history. But, that doesn't matter, as your attempts to turn this argument into something more personal have no merit. What is this "it" you refer to? Every time the government says, "Hey, there's a terrorist"..."Terror Alert Code Red"...."Terror, terror, terror, terror..." are we just supposed to jump up and say "KILL!" The only threat of terror comes from these constant warnings of imminent terror threats. Yes, telling the public that a catastrophic event is imminent repeatedly is terrorizing the public. The irony in this is amazing, and yet you want to fight some phantom enemy whose continued existence has never been fully proven. There is no "it" to fight, there is no "it" to appease either, this is being done merely to extend the US hegemon.

Terrorists believe they can spread their philosophy through acts of violence.

This definition would then cover most of the world's countries, including the US, are you sure you don't want to make it a little bit more specific?

Liberals believe that if we listen to what they are saying and if we can change ourselves and our lives to be more like theirs they will no longer attack.

Oh Rly? By "liberal" I assume you mean left-leaning or even democrat, and if that is the case, I think you'll be surprised how many democrats are war hawks too. There is difference between defense and unnecessary invasion. War should only be the last resort. The left-leaning Bush and most politicians in Washington are trying to mold the government and country to the vision of the "elite" and other such investors in the military-industrial complex.

What liberals can never realize is that if we do give into their demands we will be speaking arabic and worshiping Mohammad.

So, is that your further definition of terrorist, that they are Arabic too? Also, what demands are they asking for? If the "terrorist" were to demand the US not to invade the Netherlands, would the US say "We are not going to give in to your demands! We are going to invade the Netherlands!"

Low Orbit watch this video, a little long 2 hrs.
*before viewing pls remove blinders*
video.google.com...

Then tell me who the terrorists are...

And this has nothing to do with left wing, right wing, demo or conservative garbage labels.
It's a about world domination and control by power hungry psycopaths...

Anok,
At least we can be on the same page here. The promotion of the left/right false paradigm is merely clutter and ultimately divisive. Like so many other falsehoods we seem to accept, it is the one suppossed 'given' that the masses can't get beyond.

I agree with you that he is a pompous ass. When he was on CNN I would sit and laugh at what an arrogant ass he was. I don't think I have ever seen anyone as full of himself as Aaron.

Howard looks a lot younger. They are not the same person. LOL, maybe they are related.........

Pete Williams should be added to the list. Although not nearly as pompous or as liberal, Pete should be placed on notice due to the eirie resemblance to both Howard and Aaron. Pete might be the middle of the road hybrid clone of Howard and Aaron. Look at the resemblance. Do you think this hybrid, Pete Williams will be used as parts to sustain Howard and Aaron into the future or was this the twos plan(Pete Williams) to stay on top of the media long after they step down? ? ?

This just gets weirder and weirder.

As far as I'm concerend I gave up watching the Disaster Channel the same day Brown left.

He is anything but indifferent.

in·dif·fer·ent Audio pronunciation of "indifferent" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (n-dfr-nt, -dfrnt)
adj.

1. Having no particular interest or concern; apathetic: indifferent to the sufferings of others.
2. Having no marked feeling for or against: She remained indifferent toward their proposal.
3. Not mattering one way or the other: It's indifferent to me which outfit you choose.
4. Characterized by a lack of partiality; unbiased: an indifferent judge.
5. Being neither too much nor too little; moderate.
6. Being neither good nor bad; mediocre: an indifferent performance. See Synonyms at average.
7. Being neither right nor wrong.
8. Not active or involved; neutral: an indifferent chemical in a reaction.
9. Biology. Undifferentiated, as cells or tissue.

He has very clear views and opinions on the 9/11 attacks, the subsequent war that followed and on Bush's Government and it's handling of the events that have occured since 9/11. Including the Hurricanes.

The fact that CNN is a highly commercialized venture, the fact that anyone with views that even so much as hint against the status quo, the fact that CNN does not want an anchor who will question the very news they are reporting...I don't blame him for leaving.

Let Coop sit and bawl and be all squishy rather than ask some tough questions of those in charge. Let Coop be the poster boy for the Disaster Channel - he's a shoe in.

Brown was professional, amusing, articulate and intelligent as well as witty and clever.

It's CNN's loss.

I still remember his quip about CNN itself during a live broadcast...likely what got him pushed out...I'll see if I can dig up the transcript...it was beautiful...a real great quip.

if what you say is true Just, maybe that is why Pete Williams didn't turn out half bad.

Would Pete Williams be their love Child or a hybrid clone, and how could we know for sure?
