How about Tom Terrific and Manfred the Wonderdog???
Or 10 cent comic books like Dell and Classics Illustrated????
They're probably worth a fortune now.

I might have missed it .... but did anyone mention

"Grape Ape" "Grape Ape".....

Grape Ape stands a whopping 40 feet tall and loves the colour green (note hat, jacket and bow tie). He loves to follow up most statements by repeating his name twice ("Grape Ape. Grape Ape.") Along with his canine pal Beegle Beagle (or "Beegley Beagley" as our purple ape would say) the two roam through the country landing themselves in all sorts of zany situations. Luckily being a 40 foot purple ape means there aren't too many problems you just can't sit on.

By telling everyone that I remember Tom Terrific and Manfred the Wonder Dog, I'm giving away the fact that I'm over fifty. So I'm not giving away any secrets when I mention these notables; Beany and Cecil, the Sea-sick Seaserpent (A Bob Clampett Cartoooon),TextFelix the Cat (and his "Magic Bag of Tricks along with Poindexter and The Master Cylinder), and probably my favorite -- Johnny Quest (along with Hodji and Reese Banner). Ah those were the days when things were simple and clear. Issues were black and white, good and evil. Then adulthood encroached and reality raised it's awful head.

Two of my favourites from childhood were "Superted" and "Fantastic Max".

Superted was about an abandoned teddy bear, thrown out because he was not good enough. However, Spot came down to earth, and took him up to Planet Spot, and moulded him into SUPERTED!!

Fantastic Max was about a little baby/toddler who would go on lots of adventures!

There were many, Ghostbusters the cartoon was good too, ThunderCats also..... Nostalgia OverLoad!!

One i did not really like however was Count Duckula, it made me feel ill!

Rocky and Bullwinkle, all the cold war propaganda, what a great 'toon.

Jay Ward was THE BEST! Fractured Faery Tales, Peabody & Sherman, I've even got Snidely Whiplash, Nell Fenwick and Dudley DoWright tatooed, uh somewhere.

Did anyone watch a show, not enjoy it but not hate it, then years later talk about it like you loved the heck out of it when it was on? HA, well that's what's happened to me especially in this past year. Ninja Turtles? I liked it but didn't because my older brother liked it too much. Now 'I loved that show'. I liked Tiny Toon Adventures when it was on, now I like it even more even though I haven't seen it in years.

Also there was this cartoon with a bully named Biff (wore a red and black stripped t-shirt) and he always carried a sling shot. I think he also had a black dog.

Scooby Doo, Wacky Races and...

the early/mid 90s version of The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, when it actually had the theme tune from the game, the same colour schemes and established sonic's love of chilli dogs.

Anything on Nick that was old skool was gold. Course, their all gone now, every single one of them. Nick use to be like cartoon network, with underground or otherwise "bad" shows, now they are cute and crap.

Pinky and the brain
Loony toons
Tailspin
ETC

too many to name, but Pinky and the Brain was simply the best because of Brain. In all his evil, brillant, and utterly sensible might.
