For a party only too happy to slam anything to do with gay sexuality this is a big surprise (not).

A newly elected British National Party councillor has denied being involved in the making of a gay porn movie.

Richard Barnbrook, one of 11 BNP winners in Barking and Dagenham at last week's local elections, said it was "an art film... not a bloody porn film".

The Evening Standard has a copy of the film HMS Discovery: A Love Story, which it says includes naked men clawing passionately at each other's bodies.....

......According to the Evening Standard, the film includes long scenes of men undressing and fondling each other, full-frontal nudity and a naked man apparently performing a sex act on another.

There are also repeated scenes of flagellation in which a group of semi-naked men apparently whip a fourth semi-naked man senseless to the ground, the paper says.

Mr Barnbrook is credited for producing and directing the film, but says he did not write the erotic poetry played across the footage......

.....In the party's election manifesto, the BNP raised the prospect of a local vote so parents could decide if they want to "prohibit the teaching of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle choice".

Well, lets just give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it is just an art film and that's that. Is this "art" film available in "adult" stores perhaps?

Isn't this just like the Channel 4 report/show, which found 80% of BNP members have family members who were immigrants within at least three generations? It was funny how they never bothered to challenge it or willing to give an interview.

They're nothing more, than bigots who hide behind a shield of fear. These views of homosexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, all stem from some other problem and from what I've seen in my life. The people who are the biggest homophobes, do so through fear or because they themselves have such an urge.

It's about time, British people stop hiding behind such idiotic parties [not all do and I accept that].

Fair, mild and reasonable comments guys......and a hell of a lot more mild, fair and reasonable than one might honestly expect to come from that bunch and their thuggish 'supporters'.

What I don't understand is why they'd back such a hardline doctrine? You'd think that they would remember that their grandfathers fought against such tyranny in the Second World War.
