Federal, State and Local authorities raided several constructions sites in Kentucky that resulted in the arrest of 4 employers and 76 illegal subcontractors. The 4 who work in supervisory roles for Fischer Homes, were arrested and charged in U.S. District Court where they posted bond and were released, while the 76 Illegal subcontractors were jailed in two different facilities.

Courier Journal.Com

Four men who work for a Kentucky-based construction company were arrested yesterday and charged with harboring illegal immigrants after federal investigators found dozens of undocumented workers at three of the company's construction sites.

A raid yesterday morning at sites in Hebron, Union and Florence revealed 76 undocumented workers were working at the sites as subcontractors.

Timothy Copsy, Doug Witt, William Allison and Bill Ring each face one count.

The four men — who work in supervisory roles for Fischer Homes, part of the Fischer Group in Crestview Hills — were arrested and charged in U.S. District Court. If convicted, they face up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

The arrests were the result of a yearlong investigation into the home-building company by federal agents and local authorities.

Looks like the Feds are getting serious, this is the third raid up in less then a month. The other two were in Georgia where they raided a firm in Florida and the third raid was spread out over several locations in the US at Houston-based IFCO Systems North America Inc.

I hope this is sending a message "Look Out we are Coming to Get You" Employers and illegal employees alike.

It is about time and long over due, now lets hope they keep it up.

Shotz,

Isn't it about time? This should be going on evey day in every state of the union.

A clear message should be sent to those who employ illegal aliens. If you hire Illegals, your going to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
