WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Saudi authorities broke up a cell of al Qaeda sympathizers who worked for Aramco oil company last year and it included an American, a Saudi official said on Friday.

It seems that Saudi Arabia is doing all they can do to help, including showing that it wasnt just Saudi's involved with al Qaeda sympathizers in terrorism efforts.

Since the Sept. 11, 2001, hijacked-plane attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in which 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis, the Saudi government has been trying to overcome a perception that it had been too lax about extremists inside its borders.

But what country fingered him, and where were his origins ?

The U.S. government originally brought that individual, of Saudi origin with an American passport, to the attention of Saudi authorities, a U.S. source said on condition of anonymity.

Saudi Arabia is a corrupt ass backwards country. The royal family is all very Amercanized, yet they continue to teach fundementalism in their schools. They continue to preach the Koran(sp?) in a way to teach people that Westerners are infidels.
The royal family knows that if they don't have these teachings that the nation will become westernized and the royal family will be out the door.

I dont trust them at all.

Westernization has it's pro's and con's. It's up to the country if they decide if the pro's outweigh the con's. I don't see anything wrong with that.
