However, IMO, just because you're protected, that doesn't mean your family is. If they can't cling to you, they'll cling to your loved ones. That is, if they aren't protected. You're generally a target by association as well if not directly.

It is a simple matter of disproving the paperback version of the Necronomican, the one some many people claim to be true and all powerful. I do believe in magic, in all its variations... I just don't believe in this widely published book.

Now, don't get me wrong. I do believe in the Outer/Ancient/Great Old gods, and I do believe that there probably was a book similiar to the one Lovecraft created. I just don't believe that this one is it.

As for the other things I've mentioned in posts past... a little attack/whatever is good... it helps people develop.

I didn't read all 7 pages...I just wanted to drop my opinion though...anybody who believes and swears the Necronomicon is real is daydreaming. Anybody who says they've researched it and it's real and they've seen a real copy is a liar.

It was nothing more than a fictional work created from bits and pieces of other non-fiction sources and amalgamated in order to create a solid background on the tome for future referance in his novels.

Some people just can't handle that...if you're looking for Grimoires, there's real ones out there...people should stop trying to create that which the creator has already stated was a fraud.

Yes, I have done this crap before, back in the day, however, it's foolish, it works for the wrong reasons...

Amen man! I agree, this whole thread is a little too.....lets say Fantasy. You guys know that Dungens & Dragons was just a game right?, and that movies like Harry Potter are just that, movies. Come on, give us all a break and end this thread, no one is going (or ever will be able) to do the things you want them to do. My advise is go out and buy Final Fantasy 11. That as close to real life magic you or any of you will ever see.

What the heck are you talking about? I don't know what the cat looked like, I didn't see it... my wife didn't pay it any attention, either... just had to get it out of the store.

I live and work in a town with about 600 people in it. There are no hotels. There are no lobbies. In a 40 mile radius, there are mainly factories and farms. And being in Northern Wisconsin, not too many people wear sports coats.

Why am I ignoring your questions? I'm not. I don't come on ATS every day for hours on end. Maybe once or twice a week I'll log on, for a total of two-three hours... I work in the day, my wife works at night, we have children. Young children.

At one time, it was a ploy, a contest, just to see what those who claim the truth of the Necronomican would say... I don't have the link, but there are a couple threads on ATS which have ALOT of people who have said that they used the book and stand by it... oddly enough, none of them have posted on this thread. I know it (the book) can't work... it just amazed me how many people say it can, but refuse to prove it. So yes, it was a ploy.

But then again, specifics can make or break something... since this Jeff is waiting for me in a lobby.
