Life in prison for Moussaoui.

Looks like the jury decided not to execute him after all. Life without parole, i wonder what the government will have to say about this one?

I'm still not totally convinced that he isn't insane.... and I definately do not agree with executing those with mental disorders that are possibly, in part, the cause of his legal problems in the first place.

If he isn't crazy and he really is the evil sonofabitch the fear-mongers make him out to be, then I'm glad he'll spend the rest of his days suffering in a concrete box as opposed to giving him the easy way out.

But I don't believe in the death penalty to begin with so perhaps I'm a tad biased.

In my opinion I fully stand by the vantage point, that this terrorist scummbag should have been executed, if that verdict was reached, he sould have been taken out back in front of a firing squad immediately.

in my opinion, if he got the death penalty...he would be getting off easy.

I heard he might go to the super maximum security prison in colorado, which is where terry nichols is right? plus the "shoe bomber." thats just what I heard.

put him in Detroit State prison. Now that would be cool , not some cushy place where he gets to read the Quran and eat steak all day. Let him pick up the soap in Detroit State prison, Alcatraz, some dump like that.

Yes, He goes to the supermax in Colorado. 23 hours a day in a concrete coffin with only his demons to keep him company. Imagine being buried alive but having to suffer thru it till you die of old age. No tv, newspapers or company. Solitary confinement until death.

i agree with you big. it won't take long before he's attacked or killed. people don't take lightly to others making statements like that, even is they are behind bars. especially if those who say thing like that are convicted "terrorists"

I was under the impression this would be to protect him from inmates who would hasten his martyrdom?

There's a nasty prison on the Detroit area, forgot it's name.

The only prison near Detroit that I know of is the one in Jackson. Maybe you are getting Detroit Prison and the city of Detroit mixed up. I mean it is nearly as bad. There are a few(well maybe more than a few) correctional facilities in the southeastern Michigan area, but I am not sure which ones are actually maximum security. I am pretty sure one of the buildings in Jackson are and one of the buildings in Detroit houses them, but I don't know if they're long term or not.

Are you kidding, you know what supermax is? It it is solitary 23 hrs a day lockdown. Only the worst of the worst go there, and I assure you he wont be getting a regular cell. One of my professors worked in a maxsec prison as a psychologist and he said the inmates there were capable of some extremely violent behavior. He told us a story of a guy who wanted another guys shoes, the guy said no. Wrong answer, the guy who wanted the shoes was mopping the cafeteria floor called the guy over, broke the broom handle and stuck the sharp end into his ear and out the other side, and then took his shoes. One of the most brutal thing he ever told us about or I've ever heard. That was just in a MaxSec prison, I cant imagine what would happen in a supermax. Those guys deserve 23 hour lockdown, let em go insane cause I dont give a damn, their never getting out anyhow.

Yes I do believe that bastard should get solitary confinement for the rest of his pathetic life...

BUT, the 23hour lockdown are for people who pose a serious threat to other prison cellmates and Moussaui does not pose such a threat.

I see him as a deeply disturbed AQ wannabe who was so messed up that the terrorists didn't
even want him around.
He's being sent to a bad place where some of those inmates may have lost people they

The topic is Moussaui and his prison term. I personally believe this guy shold be put in prison for life. The death penalty is the easy way out. So lets try to stay on point eh? Start another thread if thats what you want to talk about please.

This is great news guys. He wanted the death penalty. As much as I wanted him to get his wish, this verdict must be infuriating to him, even if he doesn’t say so in the media. His virgins have been denied to him!

But...

This is really a death penalty however. He will be killed in prison, no doubt about it. I give him 3-6 months to live.
