If the Mothman is an omen for disaster or loss of life, then why didn't anybody see him before other disasters occured?? Why would he be an omen for
that one disaster that occured nearby a small town?? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Spring Heeled Jack leapt around England frightening people where as Mothman appears usually before a pending disaster.

Um from wht I researched there has never been any real investigation into the mothman legend. Local police have gone and looked at the areas where he
was sited but nothing was ever found. No footprints or anything. Um there was a reporter who went to search for it but she spent a week in the woods
