Hey does anyone here like Rob Zombie or Marilyn Manson? I'm a big fan, I love them! If you're a fan what are your favorite songs by them? For me
Rob Zombie: Dragula, Superbeast, and More Human Than Human.
Marilyn Manson: The Beautiful People, Sweet Dreams, Long Hard Road Out of Hell, and You Spin Me Right Round.
THESE GUYS ROCK!!!

While I don't consider myself a "fan" of either Rob Zombie or Marilyn Manson, I certain do respect their work. I consider myself more of a Heavy
Metal fan but there certainly crossover elements in both of their work that appeal to me.
Rob's work in heavily "layering" his tracks is, in my opinion, simply awesome. When I pop my headphones on and "crank" the volume (to eleven, of
course), I can easily become lost in the barrage of sound layered upon sound. At times, it is simply overwhelmingly hypnotic.
When Marilyn Manson first came onto the scene, I will admit that I simply dismissed his work as, well, sensationalistic. His stage personna was such
that I thought of him as a "flash in the pan" artist out for the quick buck. My view of his work has changed over time as well. Furthermore, after
seeing Manson on a few interviews, I also have come to realize that he is quite intelligent and well spoken. I guess we are all guilty of first
impressions establishing our opinions -- at least I was.

I'm a fan of both, but more of a Marilyn Manson fan. My favorite songs would be Coma White and Last Day on Earth.
For Rob Zombie I like More Human Than Human (Yes, it's a white zombie song but still) and the house of 1000 corpses (the song, the movie too, but in
this context its the song).

I use to listen to White Zombie quite a lot and the album Astro Creep 2000 is great! The first few songs are awesome!
As for Manson, Beuatiful People is a great song! Heavy guitars and great lyrics!

I'm quite a big fan of the two. I'm not keen on Rob's newest track, "Foxy Foxy" or whatever it's called. It plain sucks.
Should be quite interesting to see what else John 5 has to offer to Rob's work though.
I doubt Marilyn Manson's future work will be up to par with his previous considering John 5 is no longer in the band.
My favourite Manson song would have to be either, The Love Song, The Death Song or Last Day on Earth. Favourite R. Zombie song is either, Dragula, or
Meet the Creeper.

Yeah The Death Song by Marilyn Manson is good. And Meet the Creeper by Rob Zombie is too. By Rob Zombie House of 1000 Corpses and Boogieman are also
good songs.

Ive been listening to Marilyn Manson for years ( although not so much anymore).
I started off just liking his songs then I read his book and really followed him closely for a long time and really developed a great respect for
him.
Its a shame how alot of people just dismiss him as some guy who's life mission is just to shock people. Theres alot about Manson ( just like everyone
I suppose) that the public dont really get to see too much of.

Poison Im in NO WAY having a go at you but I think Marilyn Manson has said himself that he doesnt worship the devil ( Im not exactly clear on that
though).
I have read a bit about 'Devil Worship' ( im assuming you mean Satanism). Not because Im a Satanist, just because I find all sorts of religions
interesting.
I believe the main idea in Satanism ( again dont take my words for 100% truth, Im just remembering back to an interview with 2 people who run the
Aussie chapter of The Temple Of Set in a Fiona Horne book) is that they dont actually worship the Devil like some people would worship God, and they
dont go around 'hexing' people or eating babies.
I think Satanism is to put yourself first before anything, make your own decisions and do what you want (example ignore the ten commandments and
teachings of the bible). The believe that Satan was just a misunderstood guy who got kicked out of heaven because he wanted to do things his way.
Just my 2 cents.
