For the past few days, if i put a link up, it will be swallowed and deleted by the image i put in after.

Also, if i place the text in first, it will erase my link if i put the link in first.

Is there a trick to this?

It used to work for me before

I'd appreciate any help on this.

Thank you-dg

I think the script that inserts links is being reworked right now, maybe that´s the reason? Are you using the script to insert stuff or the url and im tags manually?

dgtempe, I have the same problem, one seems to cancel out the other.

If I post the link first, and then type the text, a couple of times it worked, but as soon as I enter a link after the text, the whole text disappears

I tried to add a link after with the edit button, it erased my text posted earlier and posted just the link.

Glad you posted this, thought it was just me. I u2u'd a mod but no reply as yet

Seems to me, similar related topic is also discussed here:

Happens all the time to me, too.

you should type your posts in notepad or wordpad first and then paste them into the text box. that way, if it loses it, at least you have a copy of it to paste again

Even still, a fix would be better.

Maybe some time after the server upgrade.....

SO?
