At the rist of posting a fourth post in a row ...

Thermopolis is exactly right. The president of Mexico is sending people here
by the tens of thousands every day. He's quietly invading America. He
KNOWS that when there are more Mexicans in California, New Mexico,
and Arizona ... he knows that they'll want to either open wide the flood
gates and let in all their mexican brethren or they will just annex those
states back to Mexico.

The Mexican government SENDS their non-wage-earning people here.
They know that if they are here, then their government doesn't have
to pay for their welfare, their medical care, their child care, their anything.
He's sending his criminals here .. his gangs here ... his dregs here.

He's dumping them here so he doesn't have to fix his own darn country.

If you look at Mexico's immigration policy you'll gasp. They hardly let
anyone in. AND even the legal immigrants don't have rights. They can't
protest like the illegals do here. They can't own certain properties ....

Mexico is hypocritical!!

Illegal aliens go home. Take all those rugrats with you.

Stop beating the crap out of those Central Americans.

I really want to know why the feds weren't down there picking up all of the illegal immigrants. They're marching around saying they're illegal and we do nothing about it? Also, don't throw the first amendment out there because they're not citizens!

I think that many illegals are already worried about taking part in the protest come Monday. As you see rumors are rampant and many fear the INS will do another sting operation come Monday.

Thousands of illegal immigrants stayed home this week amid rumors of immigration roundups that federal officials say were unfounded, leaving some industries scrambling for workers.

Len Mills, executive vice president of Associated General Contractors of South Florida, estimated at least 50 percent of workers on construction jobs in the region had not shown up for work.

"This is costing millions of dollars a day, and I don't know who is going to pay for it," he said.

Rumors of random sweeps were rampant from coast to coast Friday, prompting many immigrants to stay home from work, take their children out of school and avoid church. Their absences added to immigrants' fears, as some thought their friends and co-workers had been arrested.

Rumors Fuel Fears among Imigrants

Now if that is the way they felt on Firday imagine what many are thinking about attending any events on Monday?

I am sure many are still going to protest but my guess is they will be the ones who already have green cards doing it in support of those that do not.

I said two years ago that the Mexican illegal issue was going to be America's "Palestinian" issue, and I was correct. The concept is, that even though they lost their war against America, they still own the land and want it back, just as the "Palestinians" lost all four wars they started against Isreal, but "their" land is "occupied". Bull!!!!

V. Fox has been printing booklets for over four years and distributing them, telling them how to take advantage of our entitlement programs (which will bankrupt this country but is another issue); where to go to get false paperwork, and on and on. They are trying to beat America to death with it's own virtues.

The problem is that both parties want the votes of the legal immigrants. This is politics as usual..... instead of enforcing the immigration laws we now have they would rather make a "new" law; an idea which won't work, and has never worked.

The upset of this is that their are mexican politicians who are pushing this, as in California, New Mexico, and a couple of others.

If you wish to see what many of them think, go to www.wehategringos.com... and have your speakers on.

My big complaint is that Mexico is awash in resources, but because they're government is as corrupt as that of New Orleans, and is Socialist/Marxist, they can't take advantage of them, so rather than change their government they come here to take adavantage of our system, and our Capatalist largess.

Edited for added content
Second edit for spelling.... my bad.

REPLY: it shouldn't have been "unfounded", as the opportunity to "round up" many of them would have been a good thing, and would have set an example. This only shows that the INS can't or won't do the jog they are hired to do.

".... Len Mills, executive vice president of Associated General Contractors of South Florida, estimated at least 50 percent of workers on construction jobs in the region had not shown up for work".

REPLY: GOOD!!! If they lose millions it's their own fault for hiring illegals in the first place. Most times there's a fine if a "major" construction job is not completed on time. They can pay for it themselves in lost revenue. I didn't hear him complaing of lost revenue to our economy because of being paid in cash and not paying their taxes.

All things considered, there is a net loss when it comes to our economy and whatever services the illegals provide, to the tune of over $65 Billion per year, and growing. Many hospitals along the border are near to closing because their "clients" can't pay for services, at the expense of Legal citizens.

I hope that is what will happen. If word gets around about sting operations, you are right. None of the illegals will be out.
At least this may prevent it from being as bad as it could get.

I certainly hope it will hurt the illegals. What brightlight among them opted for the communist celebratory MayDay as the focus?
Our govt has failed us insofar as permitting the presence of the first 25 million illegals. There seems to be every indication that another 25 million awaits below our southern border. That border should have been SEALED long ago. It needs to be now. The utter defiance of these illegal groups to ANY laws in the US must be stopped. They are a vast drain on our national resources. They are a Mexican problem that has been coaxed north by the Mexicans themselves. They show no indication of doing anything other transplanting their poverty and their problems on our side of the border.

America first “annexed” Texas, [a provocation equal to an act of undeclared war] then we went to war with Mexico over the disputed border whether the Rio Grande River - our choice - or the Nueces River - the Mexican’s choice, was the correct border. It is my unsolicited opinion from a geographer’s POV the Rio Grande is the more sensible. OTOH, if at times of the year you can walk across the Rio Grande, you could hold a cook-out in the Nueces riverbed.

Whatever you think about the relative merits of the two borders, in the final analysis the United States took by force of arms, enough Mexican territory that the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California and part of Colorado were carved out. All of this land was taken when supposedly we were arguing over no more than a 100 miles deep strip of territory along the “to be” Texas Mexico border. Not over 25,000 square miles in dispute. It becomes an honest question whether the Texas border dispute was just a convenient subterfuge to take California which we wanted? [The 1800s version of WMDs?]

Time Line: End of 1846-1848 Mexican American War
February 2, 1848: Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ending the war ratified by U.S. Senate.
May 25, 1848: Mexican Congress ratifies Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo
August 2, 1848: Last U. S. soldiers leave Mexico.

“ . . just as the "Palestinians" lost wars against Israel but "their" land is "occupied" . . America's "Palestinian" issue . . the concept that even though they lost the war [1846 -1848], they still own the land and want it back. they are trying to beat America to death with it's own virtues.

We did just what the Israeli’s have been doing since 1967, expelling disagreeable landowning residents. The Guadalupe Treaty pledged “on America’s honor” that the land holdings of Mexican nationals would be respected. In point of fact, this was not done. Many large estates were simply taken at gunpoint by ambitious and politically well placed American adventurers. A precursor of what was to follow on in Hawaii. I expect if the issue was tried in a court of law today, the Mexicans would get back a lot of land just as would the Native Americans. But sleep easy, Zap, we will not allow such issues to go into a court we don’t own.

Oops.
I forgot the 2 ways to end illegal workers. Here follows Way No. 1:
1. Raise the fine for employing an undocumented worker to $25,000 per worker.
2. Permit the worker to turn himself or herself in to the ICE.
3. Give the worker amnesty.
4. Split the fine with the worker.
5. Give the worker a Green Card.

OK, ok, that’s too extreme you say. What is the second way to stop illegal workers? That is the easy one. Here follows Way No. 2:

Raise the minimum wage to $10 an hour.

Yes.... May 1st, which should tell you something, because May 1st is a big celebration of Communism.

1- To those who cut our lawns, to those who keep supermarkets running and a city full of restaurants and public services; to those who pick up your trash in your neighborhood, to those who keep parks neat and litter- free, to those who clean the very own toilet you sit on at work, or at your school.............why make them felons???????????"

2_ ".... Unfortunately he lost his only other brother, when he crossed the Rio Grande."

3- ".... Immigrants are the people who made our pillars, they run the everyday services of more than 200 million Americans and work to be the best and to satisfy us citizens."

4- ".... They come to the U.S. just for the same reasons as your grandfathers or great grandfathers came to the U.S. decades ago."

5- ".... They attempt to come into U.S. borders knowing that at any moment they could die of heat exhaustion or drowning when crossing rivers."

6- ".... working diligently for the good of the public"

7- ".... who would treat hispanics like trash."

8- ".... How many have "lost" a job to an illegal immigrant? How many people here have been unable to get a job because it was employed by illegals? Have any of you guys actually had trouble at all finding a job where an illegal held a position that you needed?"

9- ".... They.... pay income taxes"

10- ".... because of bad paperwork years ago."

11- ".... I hate to sound cliche bringing up the race card and all that but is this inability to recognize the that not everyone who is hispanic is an illegal evidence of an accepted racist sublayer in our society?"

12- ".... yet blithely accept amnesty granted to corporations in violation of environmental and labor law?

REPLIES TO THE ABOVE:
1-NO..... they have made themselves felons, and make their children felons as well, which shows how much they care for their own families. No one forces them to do those jobs; it's their choice to clean toilets or not. Besides, they'd do those same jobs in Mexico if they'd do them here.... and if the Mexican government/economy was free enough to allow companies to start, and therefore supply those jobs to the Mexican people. Hey!!! Then they wouldn't have to come here.

2- And whose fault is that?

3- Irrelevent, and they do so of their own choosing.

4- Patently false. Our forefathers came here to become Americans, and they did so legally. We are a country of laws, and their very existance of being in this country illegally is a violation of those laws. If I broke into your house illegally, how long would I have to stay there to receive benefits?

5- Again, it's their choice, and as with anyone, in any given situation, you live or die by your own decision(s).

6- Again, blatently false. Most of the money they make is sent back to Mexico, which does no good for "the public", as they pay no taxes.... the very tax revenue they utilize on Welfare, WIC; public education, ad-nauseum.

7- There is no such thing as an "Hispanic." That's a word the Dem's came up so they put them into a "group." "Wetbacks" was the proper terminology, until the PC crowd began changing our culture to hide the truth. And, just so you know.... sometimes "hostility" has it's place.

8- You onviously haven't been to Elkhart, Indiana, or any other place that is awash in Mexicans, or you'd realise how foolish that question is. If the locals from that town, alone, were to answer that question, it would overload the ATS servers.

9- No, they don't. Any SS Number not valid is kicked out of the system before it's processed. Besides, the net loss to America's economy is about $65 Billion per year, AFTER accounting for their services.

10- Not that mistakes in paperwork don't happen, but it's rare. No..... there was and is, NO paperwork for illegals, then or now. That's the problem.

11- Can't you see? It is YOU who are making this a racist issue. This is a LEGAL issue.

12- Labor law, I might agree with; However, you need to look up the definition of "amnesty." Environmental law is crap-ola because the air in America is cleaner now than it was before the Industrial Revolution; but that's another thread.

Boogeyman: See Missed gear's post below yours (on page 4) By the way, the only mistake I saw on the Hal Turner link was about illegals being in Iraq, and in the Armed Forces.... no way. Their illegal status prevents them from being in our Army, Marines, etc. However, this should give you an idea as to how their leaders think. The mention of Aztlan, for one.

Hi, Donwhite: Nicely put (about the courts), but the land Mexico called (and still claim) as theirs, was stolen from the American Indians. How far back do you want to go?
Same for the Palestinians; if you go back far enough, the Holy Land belonged to the Jewish people. But the many wars since then, and the intervention of the (corrupt) United Nations (in the 1940's, I believe) caused much of what is happening now.

On the Kim Peterson radio show out of Atlanta the other day I heard a novel idea put forth.
Knowing the well-documented corruption of the Mexican police and military, the US should offer to pay $1M per year to designated Mexican military officials, theirs to keep. However, for each illegal that crosses the border, the US will subtract $5K from that bounty. Just see how many are then allowed to cross.

Four plus years after 9/11 we have an open border where thousands of illegals parade through daily. Please understand that our government will do NOTHING regarding this issue. They want civil war. They want a melding of North America. This all to crush the American middle class and redistribute that wealth elsewhere. The day the guest worker program is ratified is the day the future of the 48 contiguous states ends. If you don't own a gun today you had better hurry up and get one while you still can. An armed populace is the only deterance to rapid decline.

Simple,

send several thousands well armed INS agents to protest.
Arrest and deport all the illegals.
It is even an easy job, they will be gathered all in one spot.

Personally, i think that would be the funniest thing in the world-illegals protesting-pifff.

I regret to say, I believe the May 1 Protest will fizzle. But we did not win the Revolutionary War in 1775 either. Or, Rome was not built in a day. And etc. If it is a good thing it will grow. If not, it will die quietly.

The Russian Bolshevik Revolution took place on October 25, 1917, OS - Old Style Calendar - Julian - and is now celebrated - if at all - on November 7. NS. New Style calendar - Gregorian.

May Day, OTOH, is also known as International Workers' Day (a name used interchangeable with May Day) is the commemoration of the Haymaker Riot of 1886 in Chicago, Illinois.

I do believe in Europe May Day is part of the celebration for social justice in the 1848 Revolutions that occurred in many places. It has also been a Rite of Spring celebration for 1,000s of years. May Day long antedates the Marxist Communists.

I read this exact thing this morning and it left me speechless. Why hasnt this man been arrested? Not only is he hiring illegals but he has the nerve to ask whos going to pay for the lost income from his slave labor not being available to him. In fact i demand that someone in Florida go and arrest this man along with any others that are doing the same thing. Personally i hope they all skip work on monday because it means traffic will be light since 3/4 of the people in my area are illegals.

In case no one has answered your question, I'll give it a try. If CNN or any other news source interviewing anyone were to report them for their illegal activities, or revealed the person's location, they'd never get an interview from "the other side" ever again. The point of reporters is to get stories from both sides,...good and bad. How will we ever know how either side functions, if we know nothing about them? Reporters have to keep this in mind. They need to gain the trust of the enemy in order to report back to us what they've learned. If they give them away,..well,... who the heck would trust to tell their stories again? A reporter's position is not an easy one. You have to make your choices carefully, and keep in mind that maybe someday you'll be able to gain the trust of the next Saddam Hussein, or the next Bin Laden.

The leaders of the group are telling Mexicans to take up arms!!!!

Please keep in mind that the Minuteman Project is a legitimate endeavor operating within the parameters of federal, state, and local law. Its members notify law enforcement officers about illegal activity along the Mexican border.

Calling them POS is abusive and pointless. The people the MM are monitoring are breaking US law. The MM are extra eyes and ears supplementing local law enforcement. They are armed only to protect themselves.

They have done nothing to merit such an uninformed and crude attack.
