Good guess but no banana. The VSV was to be one of the future mystry pics. The key thing about VSV technology is the bow which pierces the waves instead of riding over them like a normal boat hull:

Thank you for your inspired moderating suggestion. The fact that most of the types shown are cutting edge stuff directly relevant to the subject of current and future weapons trends has not escaped you I assume. Threads like this are a good way for people to find out about current/future systems they wouldn't have come across otherwise.
