I think you can tell alot about some people by the magazines they subscribe and/or read. Conversely, its often interesting to see the range of subjects a person reads.

Here's my list of subscribed magazines.
The New Yorker
Vanity Fair
Playboy
Outdoor Life
Field and Stream

I think its a good mix. What magazines are you reading, and do you have one in particular you would recommend?

Archaeology

Biblical Archaeology Review

Star, Enquirer, Sun ( I don't subscribe, I buy them at the supermarket check-out aisle. I still have my 1992 NE issue "Aliens Choose Perot for President" headline.

Anybody here remember OMNI magazine? It was like Playboy without the articles. [EDIT: PICTURES!!! PICTURES!!! I meant pictures! Honest I did, honey!] Didn't last that long, come to think of it . . .

OMNI was actually published by the same publishers as PENTHOUSE, believe it or don't. OMNI was a cool magazine.

Is that the Larry skinflint fellow? Probably not, I thought his mag was one of those really raunchy ones.

His wife also headed up a magazine called "Longevity" remember that?
Ironically, she has passed away, from cancer..

National Geographc, I love the photography.
Some magazines about landscaping.
Sunset magazine, more landscaping, and other things related to the west.

Time magazine.

I buy Photography magazines sometimes, when I see something interesting in the TOC..

What! Please madam, purchase or get from the library an issue of The New Yorker and read some of the literary gems available weekly! Nothing against books, my own shelves are bowed under the weight, but the well written essay is often a treat.
