external source help

im new with using this external source and whenever i use it it selects everything under it even my signature!

i know how to start the external source at the beginning of a sentance but how do i close it off????

example

i want the white box to surround this sentance only.

how do i make it stop at the end of that sentance????

You had it right. On the second tag, place a / right before the "ex"

So it would look like [ /ex ] (with no spaces between the brackets).

When you want to close it, you have to put [/ex], not [ex].

You are missing the ' / '.
