Pillow bombs feared on planes

How stupid can the media get? Let's just tell all the fruitcakes out there the myriad ways of getting explosives onto airplanes. Hoorah.

U.S.: Al Qaeda explosives could be stuffed into coats, toys
A teddy bear was confiscated from a 10-year-old boy in July at the Orlando International Airport after a TSA worker noticed what looked like the outline of handgun when the bear passed through the X-ray machine.

THE WASHINGTON POST

Oct. 14 — Airport screeners in this country and overseas are on the lookout for suspicious pillows, coats and even stuffed animals after U.S. intelligence concluded that al Qaeda operatives are being trained to apply special chemicals to the material inside to transform them into bombs.

Please, there are so many ways to smuggle things onboard a plane it's ridiculous to think that it's difficult to do so. If someone is determined to do it, it can be done. Hell, there's older than the hill spy gear that you could take a fully disassembled machine gun onboard if you really wanted to.... The best you can do is stay vigilant of your surroundings....

The media is just totally irresponsible. I noticed just how so many, many years before 9-11. It's all for the ratings. Not to mention diversion and distraction.

Doesnt the media or anybody realize that no matter how much security you have. If people really want to blow stuff up they will find a loophole through anything. So we should stop making everyone paronoid by telling them Al-queda operatives are sneaking through their central air unit right now!
