Please, do not hang eachother and respect each others answeres

When it comes to military action and protection across the World, The United Kingdom and The United States Of America are the leading forces to defend and keep the peace. Both have formed a unbreakable friendship over the War on Terrorism is.

Is this alliance right in what it does, or is it modern imperialism?

Why can't it be both!

Perhaps you should solicit answers from the citizens of Kuwait?

Also, another question worth asking is: how many other world conflicts may have either a) flared up, or b) gotten out of control, or how many aggressor states may have moved against their weaker neighbors if the US/UK "Sword of Damocles" hanging over their heads was not there?

This exportation of security and peace to stabalize economies and build others belongs to a very dismissed and delusional school of thought, and frankly, dismissive of facts. Both countries are also known for thier savagery towards lesser, civilized beings, and thier unethical issuance of capitalism over the last few centuries.

Honestly, the United States should also focus on more myopic goals: the domestic demon that exists in their society.

The U.S. And G.Bs goal of spreading democracy through out the world is perhaps a noble enterprise it will not work, People must fight their own battles for them to embrace freedom. To hand a people this philosophy on a silver platter almost always end in a totalitarian government.
It's the whole give a man a fish/ teach a man to fish things.
As for the war on terrorism, maybe, just maybe we should examen our policies a little to see why people around the world hate us so vehemently. Just a thought.

i knew someone would say that

i find this interesting thing about US headlines when the British won the falklands war (wiki)

Britain's ultimately successful military response to oust the Argentinians during the ensuing Falklands War prompted headlines in the US press that "the Empire strikes back"

en.wikipedia.org...

(also, our Empire officaly end in 1997 when we gave Hong Kong back to China, i never knew that)

back to the question, you got to rememeber the UK still has major influence on the World, especially the Commonwealth (former Empire States) and the orginal United States were the 13 colonies of Britain
